FireMan 4Layer
Build a Culture of Safety
This ESPL special firefighter Suit for experienced firemen who intervene in ex- treme conditions. Extreme conditions mean extreme danger. It calls for maxi- mal protection. The four requirements for this suit are the thermal protection optimisation, visibility maximisation, heat stress reduction and ergonomics improvement. In addition, a rescue system had to be included on the jacket and trousers to facilitate the extraction of firemen if necessary.
The assembly provides excellent protection during flashovers, (when the outer
shell is exposed to high temperatures, the fabric thickens instantly, creating
additional air space and thus improving the protection of the firefighter.) In
addition, this assembly provides thermal insulation and a significant reduction
of heat stress. At the same time, it is waterproof, breathable and comfortable.
It was especially designed for the Fire Brigade . This innovative product pro-
tects every firefighter on a daily basis.
